Loaded this 250 Shock hammer to 2240 FPS in my Winchester 1885 High Wall. Modern gun built in Japan. Could have gone faster but this is all my old shoulders can handle. Pretty much a very large one hole group at 100 yards. And a deer thumper. Slightly quartering to shot at 85 yards resulting in DRT.inch and a half exit hole and the lungs and heart were mush. I’m a happy hunter. This130 pound doe, which is very big for Alabama was on the ground for about10 minutes before the buzzard showed up. Had to wave my orange hat to get it to leave, it was starting to peck at the deer.
