    .358 Cal-215gr Hammer HHT

I have three 35 Whelen rifles, I think I need to work up a different load for each one. I am ordering the 215 HHTs! 😁

I ain't gonna shoot them at live stuff if they are not accurate.

    .358 Cal-215gr Hammer HHT

I'm struggling not to order these bullets lol! The .35 Whelen load I ended up making my (production) load is the 245gr SH at 2781fps. It is one of my best hand loads ever! In my mind, 300 yards and in the 245gr SH would be better medicine for plains game up to Eland than the 215gr HHT going...

    CVA Scouts

I got my 35 Whelen CVA Scout back today and as promised here are the results. I was having miss-fires due to light primer strikes. There was a polite note in the box that said there was not an issue with the firearm, it was operator error. After examining the evidence I agree. They fired the...

First 30-06 load I have worked up with my newly acquired Ted Williams mod 73 30-06. Its a Winchester Mod 70 made by Winchester for Sears in the 1970's. 22 inch Barrel, I believe the twist rate on these rifles was 1/10. Its in great condition, some dings on the wood but no signs its ever been...

    Hello...and Help!

All of the old Store Brand fire arms are interesting to me and there are bargins to be had. I gave $325 for the Ted Williams Mod 73 made in the 70's. A model 70 in the same condition would have been $750 or more.
