Travis sounds pretty cool, we do get special driving access on few places as well, when the fire risk is low. I am lucky to have shot most of my deer, antelope and elk within 15 miles of my farm.

Good to know it is as advertised, I have never measured the twist in any of my guns. I will stick my scope in and check it out

It is a stock Browning x-bolt SS white gold medalian 23" barrel, with a Leupold VX-3 It has been my go-to gun and seems to bring me good luck. Factory Federal Premium loads give me 3380 FPS at 3500 ft elevation. I would like to get up to 3500 fps and stay at 1 moa or better with Hammers

1 in 10, I am very confident shooting out to 400 yards and rarely shoot game past 550 but practice out to 800 just in case. Thank you for your time and advice

Hi and thanks, the 270 WSM, 7mm and 300 are all 1 in 10, 525 yards is about my max on game. I practice out to 800 ( on my range) and am very confident at 400, most of my kills are between 300 and 450. I like to have a dead-hold point blank as close to 400 as possible. All my hunting is done in...
