@stevedavis - Just curious, why'd you choose the 112 HHT rather than say the 125 HHT or 100 HHT for your Africa hunt? Are the 6.5 BeanMore velocities comparable to 6.5 PRC?

Are the new turquoise/seafoam/tiffany tips the same size and shape as the black ones?

What do you want to load with them? I tried N565 and N560 in my 6.5 PRC with the 125 HHT. Couldn't get enough N565 in the case to reach pressure. N560 is faster and that's what I settled on.

I pressured out at 57 gr of varget with the 138 HHT out of my 21" 30-06 at 3200 fps. I bet the 137 HH will get close to 3300 with a 24" barrel. What was your COAL with the 137? And just FYI, I got 3200 with the 151AH using IMR4895, but that was a warm load. Looking back through my notes...

I posted this video somewhere a while ago, but here it is again. I believe this is a 123 AH out of my 6.5 CM around 3150 fps. 300 yd shot. The visible trace or trail seems to be coming off the bullet in a rotational fashion.

The "5 inch vertical string at 200 yds" was the entire pressure ladder. My final load was 59.3 gr of N560 at ~3150 fps from a 20" 1-7 barrel. It is sub MOA. COAL 2.830" (0.050 from lands). Pressure started around 3250 fps, and the groups began to open up.

My vote: sample packs of the 130SH, 135PH and 137HH. How tough are the conditions where you hunt? Lots of scrambling over downed timber and banging against stuff? One thing the 130SH and 135PH have over the 137HH is a larger HP which might be less prone to meplat damage. Only one of those...
