    375 Winchester Project Part 3

Yeah that sucks. My 94 top eject 375 win must not have the free bore that yours does. I’ve never cast the chamber but I was able to get 2466fps with the 200gr hammer.

375 Win with Hammer 165gr, 180gr, 220gr in TC Encore and Winchester 94 Big Bore

Mine’s a top eject as well. My accuracy wasn’t awe inspiring. Typical 94 Winchester. I’ll be looking forward to your results.

I’m using the 130gr Absolute Hammer. I have some Stabal 6.5 also. It’s just the nature of the beast when you’re shooting an AR style rifle in a different caliber with slower powders. I think once I get the gas system dialed in the way I want either 4451 or 6.5 Stabal will be great choices.

As a Jack Mormon I can say the closer you get to ground zero with the LDS community the worse it gets. A lot of them are really great people. My parents were two of the best people you would ever want to meet. I’ve lived in Montana three different times now. I’m currently in Billings. I did a...

I’m trying to run em hot in my 7mm-08. The issue I’m having is it’s a AR-10 style rifle. The slower powders have higher pressures when the bullet gets to the gas port of the barrel. This causes the bolt to open too soon. I’ve went to a heavier buffer and I’ve installed an adjustable gas block...

That whole Wasatch front is full of a different bread. Although the Uintah basin is full a unique kind of redneck for sure. When dad moved us to Montana when I was 10 they put me in speech class. Apparently my Uintah basin drawl was considered a defect in Montana. I’ve used nosler brass a...

    7-08 Alberta moose

All my 7mm-08s have shot sub moa with full loads of Varget and 140gr NotaHammer bullets. It’s strange that the accuracy isn’t what it should be. Still sounds minute of moose though.🤷🏼‍♂️

Welcome from Montana. No help on the 33 Nosler. Sounds like it would knock my fillings loose out of my teeth.

Welcome from Central Montana. I’ve got around 2.5lbs of the 4451 and most of a pound of 7977. Haven’t found any loads I’m completely in love with either of them yet. 4451 did ok in the 7mm-08.

New to Forum ... Factory Ammo?

Welcome from Hammer’s home state of Montana. This is the best forum around. Get you a sample pack if you are worried about cost at first but I doubt you will be disappointed with the Hammers. I’ve been using them in 25-06 to kill deer. They are ridiculously predictable near and far. Working on...

    7mm-08 118 gr HHT’s

Sure makes loading easier come hunting season. I usually use my 25-06 but everyone else uses 7-08 with my AR-10 as a back up rifle.
