I'll throw a couple thoughts on the pile re both quick load and GRT. I've used both to give me a list of powders and starting charges when book data is lacking or non existent or powders to try when components run dry. Now someone that's been at this game a while (@ButterBean) can get there...

I've seen Norma in stock occasionally as well. Bertram brass is another option, no personal experience using it. I bit the bullet with this last release of ADG and picked up some and just expand the necks for my 300 SAUM.

Are we over complicating this? The 270, 300 & 325 WSM all share the same shoulder length AND angle. So isn't it just easy enough to neck up/down as necessary between the 3 cartridges (without having to worry about false shoulders etc)?

Range report! Stretched out the 163HHT's to ~790 yds this morning. G7 BC of 2.34 is pretty dang close to actual with this rifle. Might be as low as 0.230 or up to 0.240. If I wasn't on the ragged edge of what my poor little range finder can reach to I'd be able to narrow that down further...

First, thanks for sharing this with us. Not everyone puts out data for a general community to look over and consume. Based on that, is it safe to say the Gen 2 "D" prototype is the design taken forward then?

Speaking of the 163 30 cals, for fun, anyone have a guess on the BC they'll land at? (Not that BC is the end-all-be-all, again just for fun) I'm guessing 0.265 G7.

See, I intentionally take a break from the forums for a week to return to this thread to getting much closer! @Steve Davis I'm ready to smash the order button on the 163gr 30 cals when you get them on the web site!

I'm sure that @Steve Davis will weigh in eventually, but @Farleg isn't really making this waiting easier, just for the record. I'm getting antsy to play with this SAUM some more guys!
