    I want a .308 for shorter range work, timber stuff yet reasonable recoil. The .270 and .280 a.i. are very similar in trim, COL, max psi. I think both calibers get close enough to 7mm Rem with less powder.

    I introduced myself on the old thread last year. Going into third year rolling my own and so far that’s .270 Win, .308 Win. My only mono so far has been .277 110 TSX @ 3,300 out of 22”. So, youse knows how this story goes, I’ll have to go with 116HH 😂
