151 gr HHT in 6.8 Western

Not much data available so I thought I’d try increasing charge weights with three powders to see what velocities I get as I approach pressure. 5 to 6 grain increments (edit: increments were 0.5 to 0.6 grains). I thought I’d have it covered but will need to go back with higher charges for two of the three powders. H4831SC pressured out on my second to highest charge weight so I’ll pull that bullet and will not use that powder as it was sub 3100 fps. I’ll work higher up with Ramshot Magnum and H1000. Kinda expecting to see 3200 fps. Anyone have data to share?

Although .270Win, I started some 151HHT load work and topped out at 3300. I expected little more but making some adjustments to see if I can get bit more. This is a 700LA, fast twist 1:8, 27", 0.290 freebore, 5R Preferred Barrel that also topped out 3285 with 156HH. RL26 is the pixie dust.

Just to show you it can be driven and the 6.8W should do fine as well.
