160 Shock Hammer hits the lands fast. I always load to PDR band for crimp reasons. Lands was between 1-2nd PDR band from the shoulder roughly 3.230”. Using first PDR band 3.146.

Nosler virgin case is 2.512. SAAMI is 2.525. Ram bore scope to see how much stretch is gonna happen. So COAL will def be different once case stretches. Looking at RL16 or Ram Hunter.

Need to nabs Steve’s 140 AH load data for RL16.

RL16 will be money for the 140 AH, but you are going to need something a bit slower for the 160 SH. RL22, RL23, RL26, VVN560, or H4831 would be my choices. Seated that deep though, you will likely run into capacity issues with the 160 before you hit max pressure with any of those slower powders.
 
Wow is that deep in the case. The 140 AH is a nice bullet in the 280 AI. I’m getting good velocity with H100V if you have some. Running it at 3300 FPS out of a 23” barrel. Took it almost to 3400 FPS but groups opened up.
 
Seems seated deep but then it depends on the magazine OAL and rifle.
My Tikka magazine restricts OAL but I'm running 140gn I think.
