I am looking to work up a load for 166 gr Shock Hammers in 308 win. I haven’t found published data for Hammer Bullets, so I thought I would inquire here for a starting point. I was thinking of using Big Game powder. Would anyone here be willing to share suggestions or their own experiences with these bullets?

I second @gltaylor on looking in the reloading section. There is a lot of good data in the pinned section.
I have also had good success using Nosler’s data for similar weight bullets when we find holes in our available Data.

Lots of great threads in there!

I've been running the 152SH in a .308win for a few years now. I think you may want to start with a bit faster powder than Big Game, those bullets just take up so much space n the case that I fear you'll run out of room for powder!

should all offer a little more velocity without having to *heavily* compress your powder charge.
