Tonight I loaded an HHT bullet without a tip. Forgetting I did not install all the tips in this batch of bullets.
I took a tip, installed it in the tipping block. Then aggressively squeezed it with my hand and it slid on. I measured it to confirm the bullet did not seat deeper into the case. It’s good to go.
This is an old mag I sacrificed a long time ago. Tomorrow I will see if it cycles with my 300 WSM properly.
