Got my first HHT bullets yesterday

Got my 125 HHT bullets yesterday and found it was kind of fun putting on the tips. I was wondering if these can be pushed faster than the normal HH bullets? I have a load for my wife's 6.5CM with the 124 HH and 40 of Varget. Should I start there and inch my way up? Or is this not the right bullet and powder combo?

I would back off a couple of grains and work up again. The bullets have diff ogive and bearing surface lengths which will change your case volume a bit depending on how you seat them. I will guess that you will end up about the same vel as the 124gr HH.

Steve & Brian sent me a batch of HH and HHT's to do some comparison. Here is the report I don't think I ever published. Long story short. Drop a few grains and work up.
