Nick made another great Hammer kill. He was shooting his new favorite rifle, DYK custom chambered in 7SAUM, 24" carbon fiber barrel, 8 twist, with the 155HH @2930mv. The rutting buck worked his way towards Nick down a narrow bean field from a few hundred yards out. He stopped at 300 yards and Nick didn't waste any time getting a shot off. The 155HH hit just above center, behind the shoulder and angled forward towards the offside, point of the shoulder. The buck went straight down.
