I made a deposit to officially start a new biuld.
This will be my first biuld that is centered on a hammer bullet.
The biuld will be on a SS Tikka magnum action. It'll use the new RokStock. Barrel will be an ACE 1:7 SS 6mm finished at 26" with no muzzle threads. Going with a lighter Barrel with fluting. For the chamber I'm going with a 7 PRC. Dies will be 7 PRC Dies with a drop in 6mm bushing.
Probably go with factory bottom metal and magazine.
Under the stock will be a mini ARCA rail attachment for tripod use. Out at the forend will be a Spartan/pic adapter for bipod use.
Haven't picked glass yet.
For a bullet I'm leaning towards the 90 grn HHT. Will probably play with the 104 HHT and the 75 HHT but I'm really leaning towards the 90.
Planning to use it for bear, deer and elk at ranges under 500 bit plenty capable farther out. Hopefully see speeds with the 90 HHT somewhere around fast.
Biuld time is about 11 weeks out.
