Primers can make a difference! Growing up in Texas is all about hair. As I got older I noticed pretty menopausal changes with my hair thinning. Please

Yesterday I took my 7-338 rum using 300 rum brass to get an extra .100" length neck to the shooting range to try a new load. All brass was full length sized. I always start with Federal 215 Magnum primer. From what I read it is the hottest. Therefore, I can just switch primers and not adjust my load of powder charge for further test.

Since I had no idea how big the group was going to be at how close the bullets might be together, I decided to shoot them at 200 yards. You can see the results on the target.

Today I decided to try the exact same load. Everything being exactly the same except using the CCI 200 primer which is a regular large rifle primer. Lord willing, tomorrow I will fire a five-shot group with the 93 grain load and using the CCI 200 primers.

Growing up in Georgia, I have noticed menopausal changes in priming as we have gotten older.
What was it Forrest Gump said? Excrement occurs or something along those lines? Oh well…
