Save Hammer Bullets!

Lesson learned this weekend.
Two different calibers tested on virgin brass. One case expanded 2.0gr H20 water weight and a wildcat caliber went almost 2.75gr H20.

Find some old peasant bullets to blow out those cases, save the Hammers for fully formed cases.

I'm ok with fire forming with Hammers! 😁

What we usually do is load develop the virgin brass then shoot that load until all the brass has been shot. Then revisit the load on the next firing. If it is a full blow wildcat then you have to develop the brass before development.

I just picked up 100 new ADG brass for my 28 Nosler. I've worked up a load with the virgin brass like Steve recommends and I'll revisit that process once it's all fired. I just hope the barrel lasts that long.
I personally don't mind paying Steve for the primo bullets. I love shooting them and he and Brian have families to feed too!
