The 404-gr/.458 Shock Hammer is a scale-up of
the 270-gr/.375 Hammer Hunter.
Mo' Hammer mo' better.
Even when MV is as low as 2500 fps with mo' bullet.
I just read this for a second time. Interesting that the 124 grain performed as well or better the 150 grain bullet. Again showing lighter and faster might just be better.

So far I'm loving my small sample size of Hammer kills as well.
That plus the testimony of so many others gives me great confidence in my switch to Hammers as my go to hunting bullet.

I will read the article later but the 124gn .30's are exceptionally accurate in my .308.
Last year I "Hammered" some Fallow with the .280a.i.
In April I plan to test the 124's . No doubt they will excel on Fallow but I want to test this myself.
