    Muzzle Brake

Good video. My Bergara has the factory Omni brake. I’ve been eyeing that area 419 4 port brake.

    Muzzle Brake

Thanks. I’m probably overthinking it. I’ve never had a really nice rifle until now. I’ve got it shooting pretty good. I’m just trying to think of ways to tighten my groups. I’m assuming its probably me though. I always get two holes touching and one that’s not. 1 inch overall at 200 yds which...

    Muzzle Brake

Any opinions on radial vs side port brakes? I have a Bergara carbon fiber barrel in 7mm prc with a factory radial brake. I’m curious if I’d notice any more recoil reduction or muzzle flip if I put on an area 419 hellfire match brake.

Sizing Mandrels vs FL sizing die with expander ball??

I recently started using an FL bushing die. I took out the expander ball. Seems to work pretty good so far. Bought a neck tension gauge to verify.

    162 Gr HHT 7mm PRC

Played some more yesterday. Couldn’t get it under .75 moa at 68 grains 3200 fps. Tried seating bullet deeper but groups opened up. Tried different charge weights. Got it to .5 moa with 66 grains n560 @ 3100 fps. The lowest was shot 3. So maybe hot barrel or my shooting. Probably with some...

    7mm PRC bullet recs

Was able to shoot yesterday. Best I could do was .75 moa at 68 grains N560 at 3200 fps. Seated bullet deeper and the group opened up. Went back to 20 thousands off jam. Played with charge weight. Got it to .5moa with 66 grains n560 at 3100 FPS. 3rd shot was the lowest. Probably me that did that...

    7mm PRC bullet recs

I’ve had pretty good luck with the 162hht and N560. Got 3215 fps at 68 grains. If the fog clears I’m going to try and fine tune the load today. Shooting around .75 moa. Gonna try minor seating depths and powder charge changes.

    .257 Weatherby HH coice ?

I found it to be pretty easy. If not tweezers will work. The tip sits in the block really nice. I have a small plastic tip hammer that worked great on tapping the bullet down onto the top.

    162 Gr HHT 7mm PRC

Bummer, I had high hopes for H1000. I’m thinking once you get better brass it will make a big difference.

    I love my .257 WB.

    162 Gr HHT 7mm PRC

That target was at 100 yds. Maybe I used the wrong terminology. The string that curves to the right were shots in succession from 62 grains to 68. The two on the far left were from me forgetting how to adjust a scope 😂. The one in the center is when I zeroed at 100. The picture below is at 200...

    162 Gr HHT 7mm PRC

Let me know on the H1000. My buddy has a lot of it and is thinking about trying it on the 162 or 170. He’s got a 7 PRC barrel on order.
