KD - Thanks for that info. It is very helpful for figuring out a starting load with Retumbo. Your numbers are interesting - I would have expected Retumbo to pressure out at a higher velocity than 3353 fps with 143 HH bullets.

MM - Thanks for the info. I was thinking about N570, too. I know I have seen very good speeds with it in the past. But, I am not sure how temperature stable it is.

I haven't tried N568, yet, but I did pressure test N565, RL26, and H1000, yesterday. Did not find max pressure for N565 at 79.50 gn and 3229 fps. H1000 pressured out at 87.50 gn, 92% fill, and 3489 fps. RL26 pressured out at 84.50 gn, 90% fill, and 3465 fps. Although I was hoping for more...

You could be right about N565 being too slow. I like starting with the more temperature stable powders, though, so maybe H4831SC would be a good place to start. I think Reloder 23 could be good, too, but that's been unobtanium for a long time. The lightest bullet I've shot in the 28 Nosler is...
