Corey and his hunting buddy watched this bear for 3 hours. He said, “it kept tossing and turning most of the time it was laying on its side so I never had a shot. Finally, it laid on its belly and gave me this shot opportunity so I took it.” At a distance of 452 yards the 199 Hammer Hunter, shot with a 300 PRC, entered the left side of the bears face, took out the spine and Corey recovered the bullet behind the opposite shoulder. Then came the hard difficult task of packing out the bear on the steep ridge.

This is simply amazing! Again, here is a great example of taking advantage of the length you can get on a good mono bullet. I'm beginning to wonder if the traditional calculation for B.C. applies to an all copper bullet. That is one long bullet!
