Popped this pair last night. Will post video later this week.
Shanked first shot at 150 yards with a tipped bullet. Dropped him 50 yards later with a non-tipped. Female got out over 280 yards dropped her on a “hang the reticle slightly high shot” with a non-tipped bullet. Interestingly the damage at over 280 was more significant than the closer coyote. His shot entered front shoulder exited the neck. Nominal pelt damage. I’d honestly say non-existent. The farther shot was slight quartering away shot hit last rib exited opposite armpit. Good quarter size hole.
Here’s the bullet that I cycled in the chamber. I’m fairly aggressive when cycling the next round. No meplate damage at all. This bullet is set deep with a single stack magazine.
Now to drop something with a tipped bullet.
