Last fall I came around & opted to give the 87 gr Absolute Hammer a try with a 22" barrel bolt action rifle. Ill need to look up load data though I recall I settled on IMR 8208 XBR propellant. Supposedly Absolute Hammers are non seating depth sensitive. My experience differed to a degree as I recall.
Ended up taking two does on opening day of season. 1st doe was a boiler room shot at roughly 100 yards & resulted in a 80ish yard death run. 2nd doe was a CNS shot at roughly 100 yards as well & resulted in more of a DRT result as may be expected.
Anyone else care to share they're 6mm Absolute Hammer load development & or hunting experience?
