730 Yard West Texas Aoudad

Colton shot this beautiful aoudad in the Chianti mountain range of West Texas.
He said, “This was the 19th big game animal l’ve taken with the 124gr Hammer Hunters. Two shots at 736 yards (not the plan just how it shook out) 4” group and ram was down in seconds. Estimated impact velocity was 1720fps and the bullet opened both times.”
Congratulations Colton on a beautiful Aoudad and an incredible shot. Good job on the spotter ranging and communication! Great team work.

Anyone else catch the “…19th big animal…” shot with same bullet?

I think I may have 19 cartridges with possibly 19 or more Hammer bullets per cartridge.

Awesome shooting! 730 yards is a poke. I'm looking forward to shooting some critters with the 125 HHT out of my 6.5 PRC this fall....
