7mm 151 Shock Hammers

I've been shooting these for a couple years now and they've performed great on mule deer and antelope but now I'd like to load them in a new gun set up for a little longer range and I'm wondering a couple of things.

- What is their minimum velocity for still preforming/expanding reliably?
- What is their G7 BC? Most other hammer bullets have the G7 listed but this particular bullet only shows G1 on the website.

1800 is minimum for reliable performance on all Absolutes, Hunters and Shock Hammers.
If you're wanting to get drops, go to JBM Ballistics and just enter the G1 value.

And by the way, welcome from NE Alabama!

Next question - Why does the reload data on the Hammer site Google Doc have the COAL so short? It's listed at 3.065". This is approximately .160-.230 shorter than all other published COALs that I can find.

Go to Reloading
Then look at member supplied load data for all bullet types/rifles.
You'll probably get more usable data.
