Absolute Hammer Load Data

Lots of variables, but I think either the 170 or 175 start loads is a place to begin.

I saw link on loaddata.com before, thank you. I was thinking, start at lowest 170 gr. load and work up, and note pressure signs. I got this from cutting edge on the 175 gr. : "
Powder type Filling/Loading Ratio Charge Vel. Prop.Burnt P max P muzz
Accurate 5744 95.3% 31.0 2525 96.5% 50225 3764 1.104 (near max)

Found great success in my custom .280AI with 59 grains of H4350, 210M Primer, Nosler Brass, and seated to 3.344 which put me 20 thousandths off the lands, with a moderate crimp. All groups under 3/8 MOA. Days I was really on I had 200 yard groups in the zeros. Shot a whitetail buck Saturday at about 120 yards and had excellent performance. Soon I'll get out to 400 and 600 and post the results. Also, 59 grains had zero pressure signs and chronographed at an average of 3,212fps. I know I could push them harder and get probably 200 more fps, but with the way it shoots, I'm not going to mess with a good thing.

Thank you Remhunter, and welcome to theForum!
When you get done, please post info onthe Share Your Hammer Loads thread. And please include barrel length and twist.

Have some 130AH's on the way for my 7mm rem mag. Any advice on what powders I should pick up to try with these? I have lots of H4831 and 7828 already, but wouldn't mind picking up 2 or 3 more to try in case what I have doesn't work out the best. Based on the loads by Ddubs20 listed in the pdf here, thinking I might try and find some H100V and some Ramshot Hunter.

I think you’re on the right track. RL16, the 4350’s and VV 550 would be the faster burning options I’d look for if your current powders fill it up without pressure. 🤘

Look at the load data pposted for Absolutes under Reloading on this Forum. There's loads with both H4831 and H100.
