Bertram Brass ?

I run around 1500 piece's of Bertram brass across 4/5 calibres, and have found that it is always fairly hard and strong, if treated right, you should have long lasting brass good for many firings, l have no hesitation in recommending Bertram Brass, Besides, all headstamped 6.5 Beanmore brass is Bertram.

Just did some fire forming with the beanmore. Brand new not prepped Bertram 6.5 Beanmore and brand new not prepped Petersen 260 Rem.
The Betram required more force to seat the bullets. Everything was crimped 1/8 FCD. 80HHT with crimp groove.

Pretty groove! How'd you do that?

Second thing:
Just be aware that if you cut a groove in a PDR band, you thin the PDR band and change the behavior of how the bullet sheds and opens.
You may well make the bullet become more violent upon opening. Location of band (spacing) has also been found to affect bullet behavior.
(Just so you'll know).
