Best aftermarket trigger??

Working on a Winchester Model 70 and want a better trigger for it. What is your guys suggestions on a good aftermarket trigger for bolt action rifles. Prefer 2-2.5 lbs as it's a hunting rifle.

Got a new HS precision stock ordered for it. Figure a nice stock to free float the barrel, a new trigger and of course.....SOME HAMMERS!!! And this old girls should shoot pretty amazing. If not....she will also get a new barrel, but I think the one she is wearing has a lot of life left in her.

New style 'MOA' trigger I'm assuming?

I only tried the timney - but now all I have are the old style triggers (which I much prefer)!

I think the MOA triggers are 08 and newer. This is an early 70s rifle so pre MOA.

Was looking at the GARD and rifle basics. Tunney also makes one but not crazy about the timney.

Those old triggers tune up pretty nice with a new spring and a stone.

Gonna come down to price range. But my experience “any after market trigger” will feel better than then factory. I’m a big Timney fan.

Timney is about your best bet with Winchester. Rifle Basix can be okay. Still patiently waiting for Triggertech to make one for Winchesters
