Ok Hammer Heads,
I'm not a competitive shooter and I admit I still have a lot to learn.
Here is a target from a Tikka .308 with an IBI barrel (Canadian) . Sporter profile
The gunsmith was seeing good results so I said I would try one.
these are 124gn Hammer Hunter projectiles.
The Electrical insulation tape is approximately 3/4 wide in Australia making that a 3/4" inch square cause Y'all haven't met metric yet.
100m range at local club.
Show us your magic!

I’ve got one, but need to go for a repeat before I post. 2/5 were called “bad” ( iykyk), but the potential was approximately 0.375” at 100 yards with a 6.5x39 (Grendel).

You two girls (that's the Australians) need to quit playing around and embrace hammers.

I'm going to go ahead and brag a little bit for the boys at hammers headquarters in Montana, since they won't do it.

Here's a little three round group that was produced by half of a 120 lever Hammer shot out of a 300 rum turned backwards🥴 I take no credit, all I did was add more powder!! The guy at hammers headquarters who figured out the PDR bands came across something that is purely amazing and I'm going to brag about it for them.

The plate is 3/4 inch thick ar500 .The big hole in the middle was my sighter, that was the old 137 at 4K. The hole above it was the 101 blackout at 4.5 k. The ones that are truly amazing are the three below it. Those are at 5K🚀🚀🚀 Who in their right mind would have thought a company could make a bullet that accurate???

Nice bear. Nice group.

I just recently come across a 338 Lapua and was wondering what powders to use for the 260s. I've got plenty of retumbo, Thank you.

Well, did it turn into a rug and how did the old lady respond???

It is being rugged. It was shot last fall, so we should get it back this fall. I'll post a pic of the rug when we get it back. It had beautiful thick hair so it should turn out great.

For joes who missed it, story/pics is in “2022 big game success thread”.

I know nobody asked me but seems like this thread would be best placed in the section “hitting the target”.

The old lady doesn't want a rug but she didn't say nothing about my chair at the hunting camp. I shot of small 7-point last year and decided to have the hide tanned so I could throw it over my chair at hunt camp. She's going to have a broken heart if I shoot a big a$$ kangaroo in Tasmania. That hides coming home!!🦘👍🤣🤣🤣😅

Five shot group at 100 yards from "The Howitzer," CVA Scout 45/90 - 404 grain Power Hammer at 2300 fps. I'm convinced the flyer on the lower right is human error.
