I've been looking hard at the 25GPC. Looking for a 25 cal option for my daughter's (almost 10) first centerfire. Sadly, not too many factory options. The 25 GPC, 25x47L. 250 AI, and 25 Quartermoor have been my primary considerations, but a 25x284 is also an option as I have unused 284W brass.

Anyone shooting the 115HHT? I'm toying a Quartermoor and thinking that might make it sweet.

I wish those 115g HHT's were +-110g that I could run in my 9 twist barrel.

Currently a 257 Rob improved. Though it seems a shame to let this large selection go to waste with only a 10 twist in the safe. Maybe my next project needs to be a fast twist quarter bore that burns a bit more powder. After spending a bunch of time reading on here this winter, I’ve become hyper velocity curious. I’ll have to start looking at that. Prefer to stay with standard bolt face. 25 Sherman maybe?

The regular Sherman's (ex, 6.5 Sherman) are 270 case based, with a 40 degree imp shoulder.
The SST is based upon a shortened SAUM case (short magnum, mag case head)
The Sherman MAX is an Improved SAUM case, same trim length, mag case head.
The MEGA is a proprietary case made by ADG for Rich . No common parent case. It's slightly bigger case capacity than a MAX and mag case head.
The Sherman Magnums are based upon an Improved 300 PRC parent case.
Easy peasy??

Can’t seem to get passed the 90gr Absolute in my 10 twist 25-06. It just works. 3650fps to just below 3700fps is what my 24” barrel will give me with the powders I’ve tried.

More accurate than this shaky old blind guy at 300 yards. That isn’t saying much. I can keep 3 in 1.5” at 300. I’m sure I’m the weak link.
