Just a heads up.
Several weeks ago I was trying the Hammer Hunter 90 grainers. The velocity apparently was too high for the Oehler 33 with the sky screens set at five feet apart. I was getting velocities from 1,900 feet per second up to 4,366 feet per second with no consistency. I started borrowing my son-in-law's Caldwell. It has the "eyes" mounted above where the bullets go with some kind of lighting system below.
Any way today he was using his so I decided to give the 33 another chance. It worked flawlessly for six shots. (They are posted in "RELOADING" under, "Is this normal?" Therefore, Lord willing, I will cobble up something about eight feet long to verify my opinion.
