We've been asked to start a new Thread on this new Forum to duplicate the thread we had on the old forum.
The original thread was started about 2018-2019 and is still located on the Long Range Hunting Forum. It is about 40-some pages long now. If you wish to see your old photos, you can go to LRH and search for the Thread with the above title.
The desire is to start a new thread on this Forum to continue providing a media to share photos of animals harvested.
This is mainly about showing the terminal performance inside the animal. It is not about just showing photos of your recent kill. We are most interested in:
-the path the bullet took, (broadside, quartering to or away, head on, etc.)
-what resistance it met, (hit ribs, between ribs, legbone, shoulder bone, etc.)
-what kind of damage it did to internal organs, (photos of heart/lungs/liver, etc. while butchering is very helpful)
-petal damage and patterns, (did petals exit, impact pattern they exhibited against far side of ribcage/hide)
-straightness of travel,
-distance the shank traveled,
-whether the shank exited the carcass.
A photo journey is very helpful, especially for those new to Hammer Bullets.
Looking forward to your help and participation.
GL
Thanks for your help!
Some photos from the old Thread will be posted as soon as possible.
