Nothing better than recycling a political sign. The corrugated plastic ones last a long time. I just advise getting permission before you pick them up. I like the four foot by eight ones. make real Handy work at distance.

I have several of those. They work great! The UPS drivers seek to appreciate how I have recycled one sign from a former gubernatorial candidate here in GA.
That said, I now mostly use a stand that accepts 1x2s and repurposed cardboard boxes the UPS drivers bring.
