Been runnin 85gr hh in weatherby 6.5 rpm for 2 years, been slayin ny whitetales, used imr 4350 and rl26 with factory brass, got 4085 fps with 4350 and 4150 fps with 26, this is the question, stuff is scarce, i now have peterson brass, factory is to soft in my opion, should i try h100v? Or keep retry new brass with 26, think i should be able to get over 4200? Or due i go to 80gr hhts? Just want everyones 2 cents

I have had good results with h100v in a 7 Rem pushing 101 HH at 3700 ish with .6” groups. Going to expand my h100v use this year!
My thought is if you are at the point of needing to resupply bullets then I would look at the 80gr HHT. If you still have a good supply of the 85gr HH then stick with it for now. Or since you have new brass and have to re work up anyway, change the bullet too.
I will be interested to hear how much difference the Peterson brass makes. We have not re visited the RPM since we got good Peterson brass. We felt like we were held back by the first brass we had.

I'm thinking I am going to have to use my 500 Jeff here in MT this year for WT does. MT deer should not be underestimated.You hearing this Kneedeep?
NY deer are bigger than mine and the 85HH is "slaying" them.
