Announcing the New Hammer HHT

Gday jri
Yes shot them on various size critters bigger & smaller than whitetail

Joe is correct & I’ll add this part the pills without the tip are not as consistent @ opening as the hht
I’ll explain so hopefully don’t need a interpreter

The no tip will vary on it’s opening depending on the resistance encountered & is more noticeable as various velocity impacts are included in the mix where basically the tip regardless of the resistance the pill opens in a way more consistent pattern
The puzzling one is when velocity drops right off the tip opens quicker than the non tip

Now this is something I’ve also found interesting with gel tests ( not mine as I don’t use gel as critters are my gel ) as gel dosent show the correlation to critters across the resistances we can encounter with accuracy but it’s a great visual & look forward to the gel tests to come no doubt

Cheer GREAT TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY SHOOT SOMETHIG OTHER THAN PAPER. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

Yippee! Live at range - H4350 At 3555 with 3 rounds to go!

Edit: topped out 3663!
How did I do @Farleg?
Yes George!🤪😁

🥇🎯🚀🎉🎊
Yes I like that I like that a lot

Now we are talking once I get my pills we have a goal for the 300wm & h4350 ( just have to be a bit conservative as will be in the tropics) & once we get that load I’m sure we will find a buff to see how they go

Cheers

Glad to hear the 338 HHT is getting closer to a release date. Very interested to see how the testing goes in 20 days.

Gday rausch
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks man I loved the reference that’s funny 😎😎🤣🤣

The 338 will be tested in critters all going well in about 20 days so once that’s done I’d say it won’t be far away after that as long as it dosent need refining but both Steve & Brian pretty happy on tests they’ve done so far in media just confirmation in critters to sign the deal I think

Side note the 375 have showed more tweaking needed yet after a chat with Brian last week
& that’s the one that may take some more time to develop but once that’s done I’d say a lot more will be understood of the how & why let alone what is happening in ea calibre & the hht

Hope that helps & about all I know sorry I can’t be more specific
Cheers

Thanks for the heads up Farleg. I’m tryin to be patient but I’m not very good at it. I just hope there is something close to the 235 HH I’ve been running.

Really they don’t?
No, they have ridges running down the inside of both sides that work fine with SAAMI spec brass, but the shoulder of Peterson Long brass hits them. I’m going to try filing them down a bit to see if that works. Especially now that it looks like they‘ve discontinued their AICS pattern bottom metal.

After seeing the results from a military trial for terminal performance utilizing different weight bullets in the same caliber (I think 22 cal), they determined that there is a common zone of terminal performance regardless of weight where they all perform similar. It's especially validated with this light and fast trend with monos.

I think I'm smelling what @Muddyboots is cooking...I need a 22 cal HHT with a little less weight than the 68gr for some added S.G. and a few hundred more FPS. Seeing anything like this in the near future @Steve Davis ?
