Building a New Bolt gun any suggestion on caliber was thinking about 6mm creedmore 22DPC ,6.5 CREEDMORE

Well guys I have decided on 6.5 creedmore for it's long range capability in the future I am ponding getting another barrel in a 22 creedmore the solus action is setup to use savage style barrels with a barrel nut that is supplied with the action. I will have to get a barrel vise to remove the creedmore but that shouldn't be a huge problem. My friend Brian who is a gunsmith has all the parts and will be putting the finishing touches on the barrel and doing the finally assembly.

My next problem will be getting a 6.5 sizing and bullet seating die as well as brass. Looking on using LE Wilson for both dies. Using Short action bushing.I should be able to load some fine ammo

So, what is the primary purpose of this build? Are you building a paper puncher or a hunting rifle? I like Mountainman's suggestions. How about a nice 308 Winchester?

Mainly a paper puncher I have a 7mm Remington magnum for hunting which more than enough for North America
