What type of animals are on your menu and what ranges? Also what twist rate is your rifle? Best to confirm the twist with a tight patch and tape flag on the cleaning rod. Mine is 9.5” but pretty sure it was supposed to be a 10” twist, just an example how they can be off.

Right now just Whitetail deer and I'm applying to do some of the state hunts where I could be going after bigger deer in South Texas.

I have a Tikka T3X .243 and it is supposed to be a 1:8" twist barrel, but I'll confirm.

I eventually want to go after Pronghorn, but that will be years away and I'll be buying another rifle setup for making 300-500 yard shots.

If that is indeed a 8” you might consider the 90gr HHT as a do all load, pronghorn included.
