I played with them a while and came up with a great load. of 41.7 of Varget under a 99 Hammer Hunter™ at oal of 2.680. With a regular LRP. This goes right in the same hole for me and when I checked the speed, it keeps coming out at 3200 pretty much on the nose. Very little recoil and plenty of juice for whitetails and hogs. I will be ordering more, a lot more.

These with 41gr Varget in a Tikka T3x gave me an average of 3146 and an SD of 11.5. 0.25 – 0.5in groups very easily.
Should be great on deer and other similar sized critters.

Running the 99gr HH in a Wby Mark V Backcountry in 6.5 Creed. Ave Velocity is 3390 running Varget in a 24″ barrel. Pretty amazing performance. Killed a 175 lb. 8 point whitetail at 80 yards. Shot was slight quartering away. Entrance was between the ribs and only detectable by bruising seen on the inside of the ribcage. Liver was shredded, both lungs had damage and were completely collapsed, flank abdominal muscle at the exit was bruised and clotted with a 2″ area of damage and the exit was dime sized. Deer went a labored 20 yards, stood for a 2 count, wobbled, and fell over without another kick. 20″ of penetration with zero lost meat (minus the liver) and stone dead in under 12 seconds.

6.5 Grendel 18 inch AR getting 2950 vel. with H335 powder. Shot two deer one neck shot one front chest shot at 60 yds. both dropped. Also load in 6.5 PRC using Reloader 17 powder getting 3600 plus vel. .5 MOA.
