I had a full custom 340 Weatherby built for a friend’s elk hunt. Due to mag box length went with 236 HH per Steve’s recommendation. He took a bull at 350 yds and his brother took one at 575 yds and both dropped in their tracks. Their guide was very impressed. I had them loaded just under 2900 fps.
