I worked at a shop that was under the landing path of an Air Force base. When the jets are on approach with flaps down the low air pressure trailing behind the wings would produce a fog trail.
Got the crimp die today and spent a hour tearing the garage apart to find my BIG socket set(3/4” drive). Top threaded bushing on a RCBS Rockchucker takes a 1-1/2” socket and a 18” long breaker to bust loose. Lee large die uses the 1/1/4-12 thread.
Finally felt inspired to get a Lee FCD for my big thumper but found that MidwayUSA and Brownells do not carry it. Went to Lee and they had in stock for 50 (ouch) but they will not ship to Washington State because of our gun laws. Finally found that Grafs would do business with me. Now ordered.
Heard a guy complaining the other day at the LGS about not having any primers. I told him that he is going to have to buy new ammo and pull the loads and put his own loads in them.
I’m having problems with PH 30 cal 150 grain bullets sticking in the seating stem of my RCBS seating die. Anyone else had this problem? Hornady dies have interchangeable stems so it might be time to buy a new die set.
