I have not played with my 300 RUM much in 6 months. I am currently working on loads for the 300 WSM. I do know that the longer, bigger RUM is easier to work with. I like H4831SC with the 150 class bullets in the RUM. I still don't have a final load figured out for my RUM. I get easily sidetracked! Looking forward to Farleg's work.

It's a crying shame Hodgdon discontinued the Enduron powders. They are way better with temp stability than the Hodgdon Extreme line.

I do think the 137HHT may be the new cats meow for a rum. At around 4000fps, it will be like thors hammer up close, and retain minimum impact velocity threshold waaaay out there.

Joe what’s your “ guess “ on max load/ velocity on H4350 and Varget in a 26” barrel, come on don’t hold back have you had good luck with speed and accuracy with Varget ? I would guess RL-26 would be a possible contender also.

I run IMR 4831 and reloader 26. The only H4350 load that I tried was with the 124s and I pressured out right at 4200+. It's the wrong pressure curve in my 30-in tube. It does like the slower powders.

I'm running a 30-in barrel 1- 11 twist, none of my numbers would match up with yours. Just be careful and start out low.
