Joe has the pedal to the metal! He has been going places with some of the faster powders that are on the edge. I agree with him on the 140 and the AA1680. It is too fast and he is getting blow-by.I have ansolute faith in this group. Go for it!

I agree on lack of data. When i look at my dope card i posted...its a serious thumper out a long ways. Bad elk medicine. Bad anything medicine. My farthest shot on deer has been 250. But totally devastating to the lungs. Every deer I've shot since I switched to the hammers has reared up on their hind legs then ran for 40 yards...no matter where it was shot. Except for one the i shot in the chest looking at me. It reared up and fell over backwards. I've shot lots of deer with 200 gr interlocks...no rearing up. Its just an observation....no explanation. Kinda cool.
Some of the coolest stuff happens that way. Stimulates curiosity to find why.
