Hello from Oregon

Just got a new caliber, 280 AI and want to work a load for all around hunting deer, bear, elk from 25 yards to 600ish. Lots of states are looking to go to copper, so better time than now while breaking in my barrel. Looking forward to seeing the results.
I’ve worked some with my 280 REM. More folks on here with 280 AI. Feel free to ask anything, as there’s nothing but help on this forum!

Fellow Oregunian here. ODFW is currently working on a research study of bullet terminal performance on big game hunting. Its headed by their lead free initiative program.... Id say its a safe bet to invest in coppers.
Id also say Hammers are performing better anyways.
Im also shooting a 280ai, using the 140gn Absolute Hammer at 3200fps. Feel free to ask any questions to get you going.
