Nice looking RUM! One doesn't often find a stray! Being a lefty there are even fewer of them wandering around out there. Thanks to Joe16 pouring salt in the wound (I sold a very nice 300 RUM), I went on the pursuit of a 300 RUM left handed bolt. After a couple of months of looking hard, I found a very nice vintage Remington 700 with a Vias brake on the 26 inch barrel. The best part of the find was the seller was only 15 miles from my house! The price was right, and it had been well cared for! It shoots well!

Looking forward to hearing how it shoots and how you like the Bertrum Brass.

I run a rod down it today. It’s a 10 twist.

Saddled a vx6hd 4-24 in NF rings on top. Maybe I’ll have time to run a hammer down her tomorrow afternoon

Didn’t find the time today. Right at dark, I run a pressure test. No target, just finding pressure with 138hht and h4350.
Primer stayed in. Stopped at 3899fps.
I believe that’s decent for a 22” bbl. But I will investigate further
