Prayers for a member.

I made it through all good guys. Anesthesia and poor kidney function don't mix well. So I was out cold most of the day.

PD catheter placement was successful. I also had a hernia but the doc couldn't cage it due to where the catheter had to go. So he fixed it up the best be could. I imagine that will have an impact on my semi pro weight lifting career going forward ;)

Fistula transposition went well.

Heading off to dialysis here soon. Then, I just need to get my drain tube pulled from my arm and my IV pulled and should be gtg.

Then a night in a hotel and head hoke tomorrow!

We made it home safe.

Hopefully now things will settle down a bit. May 20th we'll start peritoneal dialysis. We'll probably start using the fistula in about 3 weeks, and get the jugular catheter out asap after that.

One more test I believe I need for transplant work up.
