Zero sign of pressure throughout test. I'm trying to find a use for my H4831 and I think 3350 fps would be a win. Going to test accuracy next.

You people are good… AND crazy!

"The crazy part is shooting that much with a 30 Nosler!"

It's not bad with a brake, plus, that was divided between 3 range sessions.

I also shot 20 rounds of 300 WSM in a Kimber Montana in yesterday's range session where I shot the RL 26 and Retumbo loads. The Kimber is a very light rifle and does not have a brake. It was definitely harder on the shoulder than the braked 30 Nosler.

I was using up some R-P brass but maybe my Peterson Long will get me there.

I was using up some R-P brass but maybe my Peterson Long will get me there. Temp bit high for solid RL26 performance IMO but was too itchy to try. Thought it should have topped 3400 easily but maybe too warm and got some weird results.

I have to wonder if the long jump is hurting powder efficiency with some possible blow by? The jump is about same as seating depth. I seem to get best velocity with longer heavier pills in this rifle that are engaging lands before it leaves case. I really thought this load would touch 3500.
