    Time to pick a load!!!

Plains game Hunt in August, here is what I have it narrowed down to. Shots from 50 to 300 yards likely, Steenbuck and Duiker up to Kudu and Zebra. No Eland or DG on this trip. What do you think? All are great loads, changed my mind three times since I started typing this post! Ruger M77 African...

Help...whats going on here? (Primer Dimple)

Look at the pic, I am getting back pressure for some reason right? I fired six shots two different loads and all 6 primers looked the same. 200gr pill from the .35 Whelen, three were a fairly light load (2670 fps) and three fairly heavy (2850fps). Never seen this before, no other pressure signs...

    .338-06 185gr

186gr Shock Hammer, 185gr Barnes TTSX, 185gr Hornady CX I have a decision to Make on which bullet to load up and take hunting. 185 grain is my choice for the 338-06. Before I started working with the hammer bullets I shot a lot comparing the Barnes vs the Hornady. I finally decided on the CX...

    180gr Shock Hammer - .375 Ruger

Did you ever look at your chronograph and start laughing? Happened to me today, very first time I shot this rifle. My starting load with the 180SH in the .375 Ruger.......3501 fps! No issues, brass looks great, easy extraction. Sure did bark loud though, I don't have a .375 can yet! I Used...

    .375 Ruger?

Anyone loading .375 Hammer bullets for the .375 Ruger? Hardest hitter I had is a .338 Win Mag, but Buffalo are on the list for our next Africa hunt in August so I just picked up the .375. I have not been able to find much info here. I'm thinking I want to start with the 270gr Shock Hammer.

    Hammer .35 Whelen data

Not trying to ruffle any feathers here, and you all know I am new to these bullets. But I have to say the .35 Whelen load data here is puzzling to me. I've worked up starting loads for 4 cartridges using the data on this website, a couple of other sources and my own experience. .308, 338-06AI...

    Hammer Time 338 yes..358 Maybe.

I just got here a day or two ago and have spent hours reading through threads and data provided by members here. Really interesting stuff! My current hunting load in my 338-06AI is a 185gr Hornady CX at just under 3100FPS. I believe I can can come up with a better (more effective) load with the...

    Hello...and Help!

Hello from Oklahoma....This is my first post here, there will be more! My current obsession (I have a personality disorder) Is buying rifles and working up loads for all of the 30-06 based cartridges. I do not own a 30-06 but I do own a 25-06, 270Win, 280Rem, 338-06AI and a 358-06 (OK is a .35...
