The de-capped primer method is outlined here, and for what my opinion is worth (nothing), that post should be stickied. Since I started examining spent primers, my knowledge and comfort with loading has increased exponentially. Thanks, @Schnittker!

*2872 is a six shot average. There was one outlier of 2857fps. In that six shot string, the ES was 24, SD 8.2. Removing that outlier, the remaining five shots had an ES of 9, SD of 3.4.

had great plans to run load ladder. Had charges from 60.0gr to 64.8gr in 1% increments. Had 4 loaded at 60.0gr to zero and for cleaning shots....new scope and the barrel was thoughly cleaned after the fire forming and barrel break in 100 count.

All 4 of the 60.0gr casings showed .0005" to .001" head growth and a slight ejector circle. No stiff bolt, but I didn't try the 60.6gr round.....call me chicken.

To me, RL-16 seems to be a bit too fast burn for the 122gr HHT. Probably in the wheelhouse for the 116gr AH.

Sweet spot seems to be 74.7 grains H4350 for this barrel. Three shot group was Sub moa, seating depth could be tweaked and probably increase neck tension to 0.003, or increase crimp to improve on group size.
