Here is a group using 99gn H.H. in a factory Tikka that was sighted on factory ammo.
Point of impact differs but the group is great for a factory rifle.

No load development just a starting point

To clarify this was my brother's rifle. I also have a 6.5x55 that I plan to use for a .260rem build.

He lives away so he had bought his rifle over and I picked some load data checked the seating depth and with these light pills they are short of the lands. I generally reload for him when I can. I expect that even without load development I would get 1moa groups being a Tikka and Hammers are forgiving or easy to load.

Im after load light recoil loads because he has an issue where his neck gives him trouble after a number of shots from his X Bolt .308 . Nice rifle but it has snappy recoil.

He now has a Verney Carron Speedline in .308 that we took out for its first outing. We went from 110gn reloads to some factory 180gn Winchester loads and the recoil was very subdued due to the gas action of the lever release gas action, action.
