Or we get there early and load some lightweights to 5000 ish HaHa.
This thinking has me in my happy place.
I like itRight now my thinking is we will set it up like an archery 3d course. Move from shooting position to shooting position at varying ranges and terrain. Probably take us a weekend to plot out the course. Would love to do 50 shooting positions.
He didn't say, "50 Shades" Jesse!I like it
My back is on the fritz so if I can make it I’ll need to be at a benchRight now my thinking is we will set it up like a archery 3d course. I'm working on how to set up a receiver type rest from my side by side.My back is on the fritz so if I can make it I’ll need to be at a bench

I like the direction you’re going.Methinks about 20% of the shots should be from a ground blind:

Another 20% from a treestand using a rest....even if it's mounted at ground level so nobody has to actually climb a tree:

Another 20% using a log or other field expedient rest:

20% using a tripod:

Lastly, make 20% from a bench under ideal conditions as kind of a baseline to measure the other methods against. You could even use the same 20 targets for each.....just different ways of setting up to engage the targets. I think it would be interesting to compare and contrast the number of hits between the various setups.
