Oryx are beautiful animals. Their coloration is stunning. I wish I had the coin to hunt them.

I’m with you @littlebighorn I’ve always loved the look of oryx! If I ever make it to Africa its at the top of my list
If you've never had an opportunity to taste oryx, they also make incredible table fair. Second to axis, above deer/elk according to my taste buds.

I find Oryx and Axis almost too..........mild? ordinary? I don't know what I'm looking for here. I like my game to have a little "game" left in it. A couple weeks ago I was treated to some Wildebeest stew that was incredible.

I've heard that, which is another reason I want to hunt them!
Everything that we have tasted in Africa is very good. We have decided that the game animals here don't tase as good as other parts of the world.

Way back in the day, I lived in Nairobi, Kenya for 18 months. There was a restaurant called, "Carnivore" that served all of Africa's wild game by the skewer.
